The UEFA Elite Scout Programme (UEFA ESP) is aimed for existing scouts as well as ex-professional players and coaches interested in pursuing a career as a scout.
This comprehensive program covers everything from match observation and professional reporting to video editing and data administration, providing a broad range of knowledge and expertise in cutting-edge recruiting.
Participants will have the opportunity to share diverse ideas, practice real exercises on the pitch, and, of course, create a broad network of international colleagues, suppliers, and specialists throughout the three face-to-face seminars and two online interactive workshops.

USSF Scouting Courses
The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) also offers a popular soccer scouting course. The Talent Scout Course is designed to teach youth scouts about the process of identifying, evaluating, and monitoring future highly gifted players.
The competencies (knowledge, skills, attitude) and personal attributes required to function as a Talent Scout will be acquired or further developed by candidates.
Two courses will be offered by US Soccer this spring, with two more scheduled for the fall of 2022.
The courses will run for three months (April to June 2022), and will include a mix of virtual learning and in-person interactions.
The two in-person sessions will take place over a four-day period each.
In order to be considered for the U.S. Soccer Talent Scout course, applicants must meet the following prerequisites:
1. Currently scouting within a youth 11vs.11 environment (U13 through U21) in a U.S. based program (applicants that have access to a youth scouting internship in a 11vs.11 environment will also be considered)
2. A signed letter from club leadership to confirm position, roles, and responsibilities
